Dynaudio’s distributor in Australia., BusiSoft AV, has announced a trade-in promotion on Dynaudio’s Contour speakers, which allows purchasers to trade in any old pair of speakers against significant discounts on the new Contour series.
The trade-in values differ according to the price of the purchased speaker, ranging from $500 on the C25C centre speaker in satin finishes up to a $3500 saving on gloss-finished Contour 60s.
The trade-in deal is available on the Contour 20, 30, 60 and 25C models.
The Contour 60 won our Loudspeakers of the Year 2018 in the $10,000 to $20,000 category, recognising this floorstanding four-driver, three-way, bass-reflex design using dual 240mm bass drivers, dual bass-reflex ports, a dedicated 150mm midrange driver and a 28mm soft-dome tweeter. And that’s to understate the drivers, however, since that tweeter is the famous Esotar2, with its doped fabric dome backed by a damping chamber and a neodymium magnet, while the other drivers are entirely new.
And we note the RRP for the Contour 60s has gone down since our award – now $13,999 in satin finishes and $14,999 in gloss. With the respective discounts, the prices after trade-in are equivalent to $10,999 and $11,499, a significant saving.
There are a few rules on the trade-ins, but importantly, absolutely any speakers will do! The dealer must obviously be an authorised Dynaudio Contour dealer with the relevant models in stocks, and the offer is available only on the Contour 20, 30, 60 and 25C models.
