JBL Australia introduced its all-new JBL Bar Series soundbars at Sydney's Golden Age Cinema at a screening of Mad Max: Fury Road. JBL Bar Series soundbars were set up in place of the Golden Age Cinema's sound system to demonstrate the sound experience offered by this new range.
Available in four models—Bar Studio, Bar 2.1, Bar 3.1, and Bar 5.1, all four include Bluetooth 4.0. ‘With the all-new JBL Bar Series, we redefine the home theatre experience by delivering epic JBL signature sound in a sleek and stylish package,’ said Marcus Fry, Brand Activation Director, of AUNZ at Harman Australia, which distributes JBL. ‘Designed with the user in mind, it is the ultimate home audio solution for every type of listener, and the perfect accent to any living space.’
JBL tells Sound+Image that the all models in the JBL Bar Series are easy to set up thanks to multiple convenient wired connections, including HDMI and HDMI ARC inputs, optical and auxiliary analogue inputs, in addition to Bluetooth 4.0,.
The higher models, including 3.1 and 5.1, come with multiple 4K HDMI pass-through inputs to connect additional devices such as Blu-ray players and game consoles.
‘The new JBL Bar Series meets the needs of every home setting without sacrificing sound quality and aesthetics,’ said Fry. ‘With premium material and surface finishes, slim designs to fit the latest TV form factors and a front visual display for a better user interface experience, the JBL BAR series delivers sound quality, simplicity and design wrapped into one.’
