Loewe continues its resurgence with news that its bild 3 and bild 5 OLED TV ranges have each received an iF Design Award, while its klang m1 portable Bluetooth speaker has taken out an iF Gold Award.
The Loewe bild 3 (pictured above) received an award within the TV/Cameras category, its range of 55, 49 and 43 inch models identified as “a truly sophisticated television set… incorporating the current downsizing trend… the small 43-inch model with an eye-catching design is perfect for tiny spaces”.
The Loewe bild 5 OLED (above) received an award in the same category, decked as “State-of-the-art technology. Sensual and individual”… “an exciting retro inspired aesthetic and enticing selection of materials, combining wood with brushed aluminium, an ultra-slim high tech screen, bespoke acoustic fabric and a wide range of stand options”. The judges noted that its modular concept turns the bild 5 into a customisable design system for individualists, while inside is “the very best that television technology has to offer”. The 65-inch bild 5 OLED is available in Australia at $8499: details here.
The gold award goes to Loewe’s klang m1 (above), not to be confused with the more vertical klang 1. A portable Bluetooth speaker with a handy leather strap, “the klang m1 surprises with its big sound” said the judges. Calling it “Take-away lifestyle. Wherever. Whenever.”
