To coincide with the 2019 Australian F1 Grand Prix at Albert Park, an exhibition of photographs by acclaimed motorsport photographer Darren Heath is on show at the new Sunstudios and Canon Experience Store complex in Melbourne.

The exhibition comprises 25 images selected by Darren to represent his career spanning more than 30 years. Darren is considered one of the world’s leading F1 racing photographers and has won numerous awards for his distinctively creative images. He uses natural light and colour to maximum effect in conveying the moments and subtle details of the high-tech sport.

As a result of his captivating imagery, Darren is credited with elevating the photographic coverage of Formula 1 racing from a predominantly reportage style to one of artistic expression and sensory engagement befitting the spectacle that is F1 racing. In 2005, The Royal Photographic Society (RPS) awarded Darren its prestigious Honorary Fellowship in recognition of his distinguished ability in his chosen field.

The Sunstudios complex and Canon Experience Store are located 95 Buckhurst Street in South Melbourne and the exhibition runs from 14 to 28 March. The opening hours are from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Limited edition fine-art prints are available for purchase during the exhibition as well as autographed copies of Darren’s Art Of The Race photobook V17 which captures the colours, glamour and speed of the 2017 F1 season.
