Sennheiser has added an in-ear model to its Momentum range. It uses a custom-machined stainless steel acoustic pipe, tough impact-resistant polycarbonate, high-quality dynamic speaker systems and comes with ear adapters in several sizes. ‘These ear-canal phones feature class-leading proprietary transducer technology newly developed by Sennheiser which carefully replicates the sound signature that characterises the Momentum range: a powerful bass response, detailed vocal projection and a great sound stage,’ said Charles Cha, of Sennheiser Australia.

The Momentum In-Ear features a three-button in-line remote with an integrated microphone for controlling music and taking calls. Two variants are available, one optimised for Apple iOS and the other for Android and Windows. All models come with a premium carrying case and a two-year warranty. ‘Answering the needs of those who refuse to make compromises, the Momentum headphone series represents the ultimate fusion of style and substance,’ Cha told Australian Hi-Fi Magazine. Available in December, the Sennheiser Momentum InEar ‘phones will sell for $169 (RRP).
