Panasonic has released its flagship SC-BTT885 3D Blu-ray 5.1-channel home theatre system, which has both Bluetooth and Miracast.
‘The flagship SC-BTT885 offers advanced 3D Cinema surround sound delivered by 5.1 physical speakers driven by second-generation LincsD amplifiers, which creates a stunning 3D surround sound effect from above, around and behind the TV, producing an amazingly natural and immersive sound experience,’ said Shona Hannon, of Panasonic. ‘And the built-in advanced 4K Ultra-HD upscaling image processing technology instantly analyses the colour and luminance of each pixel, and boosts the input to an ultra-high quality 4K video signal, providing stunning resolution, colour and texture.’
Using Panasonic’s Music Streaming app, users can take advantage of SC-BT885’s aptX Bluetooth technology to connect and stream wirelessly from a Smartphone or tablet. The Music Streaming app can also be used to stream from other sources such as a network-attached hard disk. In addition, a Miracast function allows users to view content from their mobile devices on a TV with ease. Smartphones or tablets running Android 4.2 or higher or BlackBerry 10.2.1 or higher can wirelessly connect to the Home Theatre System to share favourite video content with friends and family. Also fitted are HDMI connectivity, wireless rear speakers and built-in Wi-Fi
Available now, the SC-BTT885GNS retails for $1,319.
