Krell Industries has appointed Walter Schofield (who previously has worked at Emotiva, Harman International, and Meridian) as its new Chief Operating Officer.
As COO Schofield has the responsibility for driving all Krell’s sales, marketing and new product initiatives, together with Gordon Schackelford, VP of Sales. Krell’s co-founder and Managing Director, Rondi D’Agostino, said she was thrilled to have Schofield on board at the company. ‘Walter joins us after a successful tenure with Emotiva Audio, where, as Vice President of Global Strategy, he helped to dramatically increase the brand’s presence and sales across the globe by opening new channels of distribution and myriad new partner accounts’, she said.
Schofield told Australian Hi-Fi Magazine: ‘Krell is a classic, iconic audio innovator that will continue to set new, high bars for product design, reliability, sound quality and construction. We’re looking forward to accelerated growth over the short term, with new products and improved practices that will make the brand, once again, an unequivocal leader in the high‐performance audio market. Our most important job is to ensure that every product bearing the Krell logo is unquestionably reliable and delivers ultimate performance now and for years to come. It’s our main, laser-like focus, and our commitment to our dealers and customers.’
