JBL's new Xtreme 2 portable Bluetooth speaker has four drivers, two passive bass radiators, and a rechargeable 10,000mAh Li-ion battery which can deliver up to 15 hours of playtime from a single charge. Importantly, it has a bottle opener built into the carry-strap.

The Xtreme 2 is IPX7 rated and can charge external devices via its USB socket. The Bluetooth circuitry can connect to two smartphones or tablets. ‘You can take the Xtreme 2 to the beach or the pool without worrying about spills or even submersion in water,’ said Marcus Fry of Harman Australia, which distributes JBL in Australia. ‘ Using JBL’s Connect+ you can amplify your listening experience to epic levels and rock the party perfectly by wirelessly connecting more than 100 JBL connect+ enabled speakers.’

Available now, the JBL Xtreme2 retails for $349.95 including carrying strap and bottle opener.
