The JBL Free X earphones come with three different ear tip sizes and two gel sleeve sizes ensure a secure fit in any sized ear, and are splashproof (IPX5). The built-in batteries are said to enable use for four hours before needing to be recharged, which can be done using the supplied smart charging case, which can also be used to give the Free Xs a 15-minute quick charge that will give one hour of music playback, or you can use the battery inside the carry case to provide power for a further 16 hours.
