A seemingly magical Mag-Lev floating turntable is showing for the first time at a hi-fi show in Australia at this week-end's Australian Hi-Fi & AV show at the Como Melbourne Hotel in South Yarra.

Enter Audio Magic's Room 417 at the show and you'll see an LP revolving on a platter that's suspended in mid-air. The result is that their can be no noise introduced to the platter via the spindle and bearing, because there is no spindle or bearing... the platter is suspended magnetically.

You can read more about the Mag-Lev turntable HERE, and HERE but tonight and for the next two days you can see and hear it in action at The Como Hotel,  630 Chapel St, South Yarra. For details about the show's opening and closing times, click HERE
