The three new models are the Denon Home 150, Home 250 and Home 350. 'The Denon Home range melds clean, modern industrial design with cutting-edge technology and the benefit of 110 years of Denon audio refinement, so it’s never been simpler to set up a stunning multi-room system that sounds like no other,’ said Ralph Grundl, of QualiFi, which distributes Denon in Australia. ‘Home 150 is the small-yet-mighty entry to the range that despite its diminutive size and compact footprint, delivers surprisingly impactful sound, while the Home 350 is the ‘beast’ of the line-up with six individual amplifiers to drive the two 165mm bass drivers, a pair of 50mm midrange drivers and two 25mm tweeters.’
All models in the Denon Home range support ALAC, FLAC and WAV files up to 192kHz/24-bit, as well as DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz and have Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth facilities. You can connect to streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, and TIDAL and control them by voice via Siri, Google Assistant or Alexa.
‘The versatility of the built-in HEOS technology results in unsurpassed flexibility,’ Grundl told Australian Hi-Fi Magazine. ‘Existing users of HEOS devices can add the Denon Home speakers to their current set-ups, plus two Denon Home speakers paired in stereo can be wirelessly connected to a Denon DSW-1H subwoofer to create a 2.1 system with seismic bass. Home cinema fans can even connect a pair of Home speakers as rear surround channels for the Denon DHT-S716H soundbar and DSW-1H subwoofer to create a fully-fledged 5.1 sound system.’
