Altec Lansing has released its ‘True Evo’ waterproof wireless earbuds (pictured above and below, click on image for larger version). IPX6 waterproof rated, the ‘True Evo’ design has a claimed battery life of four hours, and can be charged up to four times using the supplied ‘QI’ charging/carry case provided. When the QI case itself needs to be recharged, you can plug it into any USB charger or, if you prefer a completely ‘wireless’ environment, you can charge it wirelessly by placing it on a QI charging pad (available separately).
The Altec Lansing ‘True Evo’ buds have a ‘Just Ask’ feature that allows you to access a Siri or Google voice assistant to access music playlists, weather reports, directions, and other information. ‘Altec Lansing’s True Evo buds are truly wireless, so you have complete freedom to move around while still hearing impressive sound,’ said Andrew McGregor, of Multimedia Technology, which distributes Altec Lansing in Australia. ‘The True EVOs have had rave reviews that have highlighted their immersive sound, their convenient charging processes and how comfortable they are to wear, even for extended periods of time.' Available now, the Altec Lansing ‘True Evo’ wireless earphones sell for $179.
