Get ready to feel things at the 2019 iteration of Laneway Festival, because next year's headliners don't pull any punches when it comes to emotional oomph. The nationwide festival, which will be celebrating its 15th birthday, will be bringing none other than Gang of Youths and Courtney Barnett, back to their home turf.

But they're not the only six-string strummers on the bill. Camp Cope, Skeggs, Middle Kids, Parequet Courts and Ruby Fields are just some of the guitar-loving artists that will grace the stage at Laneway Fest. next year. Also, note the strong showing of Aussie artists - yeah, our locals are killing it right now.

Though we're aware that guitars are somewhat holy around these parts, there's plenty of other options if you feel like mixing things up a bit. You can party hard with hip hop extraordinaire Baker Boy, bop about to the electro beats of Clairo, or lose yourself while What So Not spins decks deep into the night.

And that's just a slice of the Australia-wide lineup. Different bands jump in and out depending on the city, so make sure you check your local listing at the Laneway Fest. website, as well as the core lineup below.

After that, jump on your computer or smartphone, and get ready to rush. Laneway tickets fly out the door every year, and by the looks of the lineup, 2019 won't become an exception to the rule.

Check the sale dates, head to the website for your city, and get ready to start 2019 with an excellent party.
