There's been a distressing influx of iconic rock artists hanging up the towel in recent times, and that trend seems to be raging on with the announcement of Peter Criss' last ever Australian performance. The founding KISS drummer and Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame member is set to make his way Down Under in May for an intimate one-off performance in Melbourne, alongside appearances at this year's Australian KISS Konvention.

Perhaps veering away from rock 'n' roll tradition, however, the show will take an unexpected format of a seated set paired with a three course dinner and drinks. We're not questioning it, though - hell, Criss could do his set busking on Brunswick Street and we'd still find ourselves there headbanging along. Support for the show comes in Criss' longtime friend and guitarist Mike McLaughlin.

Before one last parting jaunt in New York City, the performance will mark Criss' penultimate live performance altogether.
