Sennheiser’s famous HE-1 headphones, which are the world’s most expensive, and claimed by many to be the world’s best, can be auditioned at the Australian Hi-Fi & AV Show on now at Sydney’s Intercontinental Hotel.

'This is the first time in Australia that Sennheiser has made the HE 1 available to experience by the general public via exclusive listening sessions,’ says George Poutakidis, of Addicted to Audio, which is Sennheiser’s retail partner in Sydney and Melbourne, ‘so it’s a rare chance to experience the world’s finest-sounding headphones.'

To ensure an appropriately quiet environment, the headphones are being demonstrated solos in Room 2120, so a pre-booked appointment time is required, which can be booked at the show.  ‘Sennheiser’s HE 1 brings together a unique amplifier concept with meticulously selected materials and the highest level of craftsmanship to create an astounding sound experience,’ said John Davies, of Sennheiser Australia. ‘With a frequency response that extends beyond the range of human hearing and the lowest distortion ever measured in a sound reproduction system, this reference model is a milestone product in the history of Sennheiser.

Sennheiser’s other new headphone models, including the PXC 550 Wireless travel headphones, will available for audition in the adjacent room, (Room 2121).
