The new Olympus Tough TG-5 is built this way to be the pinnacle of 'tough' cameras while delivering high-quality photography and 4K video. It achieves the brightest aperture value, f/2.0, for a folded optics type lens, and includes a DSA (Dual Super Aspherical) lens. The high-resolution 4x optical zoom makes it possible to use a fast shutter speed records, while a new high-speed back-illuminated CMOS image sensor and the TruePic VIII image processor (used on the OM-D E-M1 Mark II) result in even higher image quality than its predecessors.

The inclusion of 4K movie and full-HD at 120fps delivers high-quality video recording, while built-in WiFi and smartphone connectivity have been maintained for quick and easy sharing.

The new peak of the Olympus Tough series, the TG-5 will be available in red and black from June 2017. RRP A$649.
