Olympus Australia has announced that the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III will be available from mid-September 2017, updating the compact Micro Four Thirds camera in a third generation.

The OM-D E-M10 Mark III is equipped with Olympus’ in-body 5-axis image stabilisation and the TruePic VIII image processor from the acclaimed flagship OM-D E-M1 Mark II, along with a new AP (Advanced Photo) mode delivering features such as Live Composite and Multiple Exposure. Four camera assist shooting modes are directly accessible from the mode dial, allowing even first-time interchangeable lens camera users to achieve high quality results quickly and with ease.

That 5-axis image stabilisation works even when shooting 4K (actually UHD) movies, minimising camera shake for this revealing level of definition.

Built-in Wi-Fi allows direct connection and uploading to smart devices and thence to social media; your smartphone can also be used as a remote control to operate the camera from a distance.

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III will be available in silver and black from mid-September 2017. RRP from $999. More info: Olympus Australia
