Two giants of Bluesfest are teaming up to let the entire country sample their wares this April, namely guitar virtuoso Carlos Santana and ‘70s heroes The Doobie Brothers, famous for their amazing harmonies.

Four years on from his last Australian visit, Santana will take in five huge dates across the country on his Transmogrify Tour with the Doobie Brothers in tow, having previously played together on Aussie soil in at a one-off event in the Hunter Valley in 2011.

Santana returns to our shores following the release of the wildly anticipated Santana IV record, featuring the original late-1960’s line-up reunited for the first time in 45 years. Sure to be a mix of sweet nostalgia and stunning musical ability, this is a double bill not to be missed.

You can catch this iconic team up on April 7 at The Perth Arena, Perth; April 9 at Botanic Park, Adelaide; April 11 at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne; April 13 at Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney and April 15 at Royal Theatre, Canberra (Doobie Brothers not performing.
