The GXR body packaged with the P10 is priced at $749, making it the most affordable of the compact system cameras (CSC) currently selling in Australia. The P10 essentially uses the same back-illuminated CMOS sensor and compact 28-300mm (equivalent) zoom lens as the CX3 fixed-lens compact.
The GXR camera body alone is now priced at $599 (down from $699) while the A12 lens unit (a 50mm f2.5 macro) by itself is $949 (previously $999). The S10 lens unit (a 24-72mm f2.5-4.4 zoom) is $549 (previously $649). The P10 unit alone is $449 (previously $499).
The new kit prices are $1399 for the GXR A12 ‘soft kit’ (when the items are boxed separately) which is a reduction of $200, and $899 for the GXR S10 ‘hard kit’ (when the components are packaged together in the same box). The GXR dual lens kit (i.e. with the A12 and the S10 units) is now $1949 (down from $2099).
