Video Intercom was established in 1979 and is the distributor of Urmet Group Security products in Australia.
Urmet Domus Spa is Italy's largest manufacturer of high quality intercoms and security products. In recent years, the Urmet Group has expanded to include FDI Matelec (Access Control), Elkron Spa (Alarms & Barriers) and Aprimatic Spa (Automation).
In June 2009, Video Intercom officially became a member of the Urmet Group, changing its name to Urmet Australia Pty Ltd t/as Video Intercom.
The company's main offices, showroom and warehouse are located in Rozelle, Sydney.
